Thank you very much for this wonderful video.Concerning the go problem at the beginning.Can black really be killed if black captures with R17 and conntects at P19 later?I have not found a patch to kill black that way.
If black captures at 3-3 white can first bump at 2-3 then black descends (or hane and white block at 1-2 whatever) then squeezes out the eye (1 lib ahead so black must fill) this kills

is it better to descend at 10:18 instead of capture?after black ataris white does not have an eye so I don’t see how the diamond shape is so useful?

The kosumi could protect the cutting point, enclose territory and get a good shape.
